West River Place is located at 265 West Main Street in Kent, Ohio.  The building is a converted historic structure in downtown Kent located on the Riveredge Park. The building was built in 1925 on the site of an old quarry next to the Cuyahoga River.  The Bissler family built the building to house their growning furniture sales business and a funeral parlor.  The building has undergone a number of transformations since then, but has remained a commanding structure.  The renovation of the three story structure will preserve the historic elements of the exterior and some elements of the interior of the building while .completely replacing all the utilities
